SOLVED: Default Encoding and drag-n-drop opening files.

Post by uwix » 30 Jun 2017 22:12

When drag-n-drop a htm(l) file to the editor which as standard UTF-8 (or other) encoding the editor shows strange symbols when for instance ü or é should be displayed.
The I do the following:
1. I than close the loaded document (leaving the editor open) enter the Environment -> Options menu and go to Editor -> File and press the Apply button.
2. Drag-n-drop the document once more and.... tadaa! it shows the document correctly.

And it's not just one particlure document. It are multiple different HTML documents produced by random users.

A little bug?

I can't reproduce it. Do you have a small sample file I can use?

Wanted to upload a few test files today which had these troubles last week. Guess what... now everything works fine. :o
I'm completely dazzled now. think for now you can set this topic to "SOLVED" - I cannot reproduce the error anymore.

Thanks for your reply!
