FIXED: Themes error

Post by kosthala » 18 Jul 2017 07:41

I'm using the latest portable version (12.20 64-bit). Every time i change themes, when the program restarts, the file explorer and the code explorer are not themed
correctly - see the attached pictures.

The program doesn't restart when you change theme. The main window is just hidden for a few milliseconds while attaching a new theme.

If you experience any display errors after switching theme - restart the program. That should solve it. I can't do anything about it so...

The problem exists with installed version, too -- just changing a theme is enough for me to see it; e.g. for "Code" window in Code Explorer panel to be re-drawn properly I need to click on "Tags" tab and then on "Code." The same applies for "Window" theme as well, btw.

I can't see the attached file. Maybe you need to zip the ini file before attaching it to a post.

I have no problem reproducing it on Windows 7 when switching themes. But it themes perfectly once I close the program and restart it. I can live with that.

But if I understand kosthala correctly the program still doesn't theme properly after restarting. This I can't reproduce.

(I can't reproduce any of it using Windows 10.)

Thanks!

I've fixed the problem when starting the program. It seems it works properly when displaying the splash window, but not otherwise.

I fixed the switch theme issue as well on Windows 7. Simply displaying a small window saying "Changing theme..." while switching theme solves the issue :? I guess the theme engine doesn't work when some type of controls are in the front most window...
