Question about auto-complete function
Is there a way to expand auto-complete, to generate a full code template?? As an example, back when I used MultiEdit, I could type "if<space>" and it would expand to: if (<cursor>) { } Typing braces already does this, but I don't know how to do it for various keywords... is that present so...

Re: Rickard, How's it going?
GitHub? Perhaps a slight modification of your position on open source? :o  My skills are limited but I would still much rather contribute more than the odd forum post to help the project :) ummm... why exactly do you consider Github to be something less than open source?? *All* of my s...

Re: FIXED: FYI: hang while trying to print (not repeatable)
Later note: I've tested this across several reboots, and I no longer get a crash in RJTE on reboot... instead, when I reload after the reboot, I get a dialog saying the program terminated improperly, and asking if I want to restore my previous configuration. When I say "yes", it appears to...

Thank you so much!!Rickard Johansson wrote: ↑08 Sep 2022 17:58 Made some changes in next version (v15.62). Added more validations and abort should work now (I hope).
Now I just need to get that issue to reproduce!!

FIXED: FYI: hang while trying to print (not repeatable)
Hi Chief; This issue occurred twice this morning, but after I printed the file with notepad, then came back here, RJTE is now working fine. So I'm passing this along for historical reporting, in case it is of use to you - or if someone else reports it... RJTE version 15.61, 64-bit OS: Windows 10 Pro...

Re: I have a new crash for you!!
As a side note, there was originally a subdirectory associated with this file; it contained all the standard .css files and miscellany. I deleted that subdirectory to save space, but wanted to note that even with the subdirectory present, this issue still occurred, so the absence of that folder is n...

Re: I have a new crash for you!!
What I find interesting is that if you rename this file to e.g. *.xml, open it and then change highlighter to HTML, it becomes quite responsive; opening it as it is, i.e. with htm extension, for me makes the editor unresponsive for good (or maybe just for some time and I'm not patient enough?). Yep...

FIXED: I have a new crash for you!!
I'm using RJTE 15.60 64bit, Windows 10 Pro I opened an html file, 6.7MBytes in size; this is a saved page from facebook. The page initially opened just fine, but when I tried to search for some text in the file (specifically, the word 'matters', toward end of file), RJTE just sort of went nutty... I...

Re: MPad (RJ Texted Lite)
hmmm... I've used Context now and then, at various times when I was looking for replacements for MultiEdit... I don't recall details, but Context lacked some features that are important to me... maybe I'll go check it out again, just to refresh my memory...

FIXED: crash on reboot
I have an occasional crash in RJTE... this happens if RJTE is running and I reboot the computer without manually closing the editor first... I am using current version, and OS is Windows 10 Pro. I'll note that I typically *always* have RJTE running; I keep some notepad and other reference files open...

Re: MPad (RJ Texted Lite)
RJTextEd is currently quite slow to load due to the additional functions and is therefore unsuitable for quick edits. Context fits the bill perfectly until RJTextEd Lite shows itself. heh... that's an ironic comment, at least for me... on my current machine, RJTE opens in a *flash* !!!! I have no r...
