Brace Matching Highlighting is not working

In HTML/PHP Multi, when I click on (before/after) a brace ( { and } ), it highlights that brace, but it is not highlighting the matching brace. (before or after) It works in embedded CSS STYLES. And it works for an embedded Javascript Function. And it works for PHP brackets ( [ and ] ) and parenthes...

Re: Braces Matching Not Working

It might have to be experienced using the full document. I will send it to Rickard if he asks.

Braces Matching Not Working

The "for" braces matching for this embedded PHP code in HTML-Multi isn't working. for ($nPageNum = 1; $nPageNum <= $nPages; ++$nPageNum) { if ($nPageNum != $nPage or $nPageNum == 1) echo '<a href="index.php?p=' . $nPageNum . '#imagery" title="View Page ' . $nPageNum . '">'; else echo '<span title="V...

FIXED: Maybe "Bug": <?php tag not highlighted anymore in multi

The "<?php" (and "?>") tag is not being highlighted anymore in HTML multi,
or whatever it's called.

I guess I could have done that myself. And maybe it got overridden by an update?

They used to be bright red, I think, so they stand out. I forget.

??? File corrupted for "Extended (Unicode) Characters"

I have a file that is UTF-8 w/o BOM that has some "extended" (Unicode?) characters, like fancy quotes and a middot, and they have all been corrupted and changed to ($FFFD-65533). In Options: The default new and open file encoding is Unicode (UTF-8). Detect Unicode without a signature (BOM) is chec...

Re: Locking Tab-Files for Modification

Does that change the File System Read Only status of the file?

Or is it internal to RJTE?

SOLVED: Locking Tab-Files for Modification

It would be nice if we could LOCK Tab-Files from being modified by right-clicking the tab and choosing Lock/Unlock . Maybe the tabs could have one of those little red circles with a slash through it icon or some other way to know that the tab has been locked. I know you are using double-asterisks no...

Better MRU Checked Items Behavior

It would be nice if/when there are one or more items CHECKED in the MRU , that (accidentally) clicking on an item name because you missed the checkbox, that it ignores that and does not try to open that file. You could also make it check/uncheck boxes WHEN you click on the item name WHEN you are in ...

Re: DONE: Open Files without modifying Last Opened Files List

Thank You

(I assume the check box always resets to checked each time by default -- just checking -- no need to answer if true)

I rarely use Drag-and-Drop -- didn't think about that.

Re: Open Files without modifying Last Opened Files List

That's one work-around. It would potentially be difficult to do. You might be able to have a Special Open that, when used, doesn't modify the Last Opened Files Drop-Down List. Maybe not so hard to do. But who knows (other than Rickard) what is being done behind the scenes and how easy it would be to...

DONE: Open Files without modifying Last Opened Files List

I don't know if this is possible.

But sometimes I want to open a lot of files to do some work on, or look at, and then they completely
take over my Last Opened Files List (drop-down) and I lose all of my "REAL" Last Opened Files context.

Re: Option to start column at 0

It sounds like a "simple", either show the actual column #, or that number MINUS ONE, as an option. Then you could have everything else more or less work the way it is. Although, when specifying a column #, you would then have to ADD ONE to it for "internal usage". I could see where that could be he...

View | Special Characters | Spaces and Tabs (and Line Breaks)

Some day, it would be nice to have this applied to and remembered for SPECIFIC files/tabs and not all.
Also an option to choose All on/off.
The default should probably be for a specific file/tab rather than global?
