It is doubling the items found count in the pop up dialog box and the Search report.

Is it possible to make the Dialogue Box be semi-transparent?

So you can see underneath it if the found text is there?

Maybe allow the user to enter a value of transparency, where ZERO would be none like it is now?

Yes. BUT, if the next found item is under the dialog box and obscured,
you don't know it. So I look around for it, and "guess" that it must be
being hidden behind the box, and have to move it manually out of the way.

If the dialog box moved directly below the found item WHEN it is hiding
that found ...

When I search for something, with From Beginning and Highlight, AND Regular Expression,
it highlights all of the found items, but doesn't make the first item the Found Color (in my case RED).
And then, when I click Find Next (or press F3), it doesn't do anything.

It would be nice if the Search & Replace Dialogue Box
moved out of the way when what it finds lands underneath it.
As close to where it was prior as possible.
Perhaps moving the cursor to where it was located in the Dialogue Box,
IF it is INSIDE the Dialogue Box,
if that is possible. (like over the ...

If you RIGHT-CLICK on a Line Number, it would be nice to have a Bookmark Menu
pop up for Toggle Bookmark. (as FIRST menu option)

Right now it pops up kind of a weird menu of items that don't make a lot of sense.
The first two items are "Save" and "Save as...".

If I do a search for " n" Case Sensitive, it is finding " N", too.
But then I tried it again, and it worked. (?)

BUT, non-sensitive search for "jacks" doesn't find "Jackson".

Encoding: UTF-8 (w/o BOM)
Newline Format: Unix/Linux/Mac OS (LF)

Note that version 16.36 couldn't find "née", but 16 ...

I've never seen this behavior before. It is (apparently?) pretty specific.
It doesn't seem right to me.

I was editing an .HTML file, and I had a line with a URL on it, I was at the end of the line,
and I pressed the TAB key to tab over (I was making a columnar table of URLs),

That's right, I remember that now.

I have mine set to Wrap at the Right Margin, which I set to 100.

The problem is, I want smaller (vertical-split) screens to wrap at the Window Edge. (but maybe not always)
It would be nice to have a button that cycles through the Wrap options at each mouse-click ...
