Re: SOLVED: Highlighting all search strings

I have my "Found Text" set to white on a red background, and the "other finds" are
dark blue on a yellow-orange background, so I can see them all, but I know which is the current.

It would be nice to have an easy On-Off toggle for that display, though. (menu bar ICON - I don't think there is one)

Re: Howto have a re-intendation on a code (PHP, C#, HTML, Python)

I seem to remember RJTE having a "Pretty-Printer" built-in, but I think it was removed.
So, yeah, you have to use an external program.
They also have online pretty-printers, too.
All of them work differently, and some better than others.
Some have more features and power and flexibility than others.

Re: Prevent doubled braces and brackets from splitting on wordwrap

Afaik, no, there is no way to do that.

Word Wrap has some issues that cause it to do some odd things, still.
I'm not sure why.

You can always add it as a Feature Request, or a Bug, if you think it's a bug.

Re: File EOL Type?

I verified that it was my FTP program that was converting them to /r/n Windows EOLs.
So instead of "Text" for text files, I transfer everything as Binary.

Replace bug

When you open up the Replace dialog and there is selected text in the "Text to find" box, and you press the TAB key to copy that text to the "Replace with" text box, it copies it there, but that text is no longer selected there so you can easily start typing text or press the Delete key to make it b...

DONE: Case Sensitive Context Search and Replace

Since I know you don't have much to do and voluminous amounts of spare time, I thought I would mention this feature. ;o) It is pretty much a programmer's request. I find that I often have the need to do Search and Replaces where the word is the same, but there are multiple contexts of it where some ...

Re: File EOL Type?

Okay. These were created files using PHP, which I specifically made using "\n", but they must have CRLF's in them for some reason. I guess I can verify that by opening them as binary files. Maybe it's something weird that PHP is doing. But it's a *nix system, so I don't know why it would do that. I ...

Re: ??? Pseudo-Bug using Save as...

I just opened index.php and saved it as meetings.php and index.php is not in the drop down and
the first item in the drop down is meetings.php.

??? Pseudo-Bug using Save as...

It's not really a bug, but possibly a not-good functionality. Sometimes I use "Save copy as" but sometimes I just use "Save as" to a new location. When I use "Save as", AFAICT it REPLACES the named file in the Recently Opened Drop Down. It would be better to do an ADD so that the original filename d...

File EOL Type?

How does the program know what the file End-of-Line character is when it opens a text file? I am opening "*nix" plain text files (not HTML) that should have a LF as EOL and the editor is saying they are Windows. I set the File Type in Options for New and Open as Unix/Linux/Mac OS X (LF). How is all ...

File-Tab Confusion

This is not a good bug. (it seems like this might have happened once before some time ago) I had two files open, both named "index.php", in two different locations. I had closed one of them at some point, and maybe even exited and entered the editor, and when I looked at the other index.php, it was ...

FIXED: Menu Open File icon not working first click

There is some sort of a problem with the Menu Open File icon not working the first time I click on it. It's acting like something else has been clicked, like a drop-down choice, and instead of doing the icon function, it's "closing the drop-down first", and then you have to click on the icon a secon...

Re: How do you change colors??

Thanks. My brain just doesn't work like it used to.

I didn't see anything in there to change the Spaces and tabs and Line breaks characters.

Are those color-modifiable?
