??? [13.50] FTP save state lost b/w sessions

Hi Thanks so much for all the hard work that goes into this editor. I absolutely, sincerely appreciate it immensely. On the whole, RJTE makes my daily work a lot easier than it otherwise would be. Unfortunately, the most recent update seems to have a slight issue with FTP. In the past, if a file was...

Re: Useful Tools Complementary to RJTe

PJJ, if you are here I'm always here 8) I discover new posts through Live Bookmarks (since my favorite RSS reader in Firefox is no longer supported due to XUL deprecation and I haven't found any decent substitute yet), so I'm usually up to speed. Sage? I'm a fellow 'refugee/victim' (apologies to al...

Ctrl + F (Search, Find, Text to find) not scrolling to result?

Hello With the latest update - which I hugely appreciate would have involved substantial work and I'm very thankful for the continued support - unfortunately there appears to be a new bug in an elementary function: finding text by keyword. Is it just me and my settings? Actual: 1. Ctrl + F - Search ...

Re: Goto line, not function

When I hit Ctrl + G, I want to go to a line. It's always been that way in every editor I can ever remember trying. This is a four-keystroke action (Ctrl, G, <line number>, Enter) that's been converted to a six -keystroke action (Ctrl, G, Tab, Space, <line number>, Enter) and that's very annoyingly ...

Re: QUESTION: RJTe for Mac os/x?

I could be very wrong but AFAIK the toolkit RJTE is written in may not be available on Mac.

Being that RJTE is also a one-person project, I doubt there's enough resources to enable a multi-platform release.

Goto line, not function

Thanks for this software. It really is a very good program, but ... ... one of the more recent updates has generated a really broken usability scenario for me. When I hit Ctrl + G, I want to go to a line. It's always been that way in every editor I can ever remember trying. This is a four-keystroke ...

File explorer loveliness elsewhere?

Thanks for the recent updates to the file sidebar. The ability to remember and quick-jump to folders on an FTP server is hugely valuable!

So much so, I wonder if this could be added to the Save As (Remote) dialog and be similarly as useful there?

Thanks again! :)

Re: FIXED? Replace with doesn't receive focus

FWIW, I'm seeing the same problem. It's a bit 'tricky' to be honest because it's not a simple matter of Shift-Tab to go back. It's almost as if the replace field cannot be tabbed into, only clicked into with the mouse. Hopefully it's fixed in the beta as you suggest RJ :) That means I won't have to ...

Right-clicking a tab, Reload current document, can load the wrong file!

Hi This is a bit of a tricky one to describe. Especially since it kinda involves a teeny bit of laziness! If I have two tabs open, and I want to access the right-click menu for the inactive tab, in many programs when I hover over the inactive tab and right-click, the inactive tab then becomes active...

Re: FIXED: [FTP vs local] Reload current document

Hi Thanks so much for this feature. Unfortunately, it seems there's possibly a small but significant bug with it. After reloading the document, folding functionality is often broken. Whereas, when re-opening from the File - Recent files menu, folding is available as normal. Would be great to squash ...

[sFTP vs local] Remove invalid files (MRU)

Hi Thanks again for this truly great software. Makes my daily life that much less painful for sure, which is quite an achievement I can tell you! Today I tried to increase the number of recent files listed. As I did so, I noticed the option to ... "Remove invalid files from the recent files list (MR...

Re: SOLVED? Open last session on start up

This is the sweetest feature. I've been wanting this for ages and assumed it didn't exist. I was going to ask for it as a feature. Thankfully I searched the right forum node first and amazingly, found this post. FWIW, the option is labelled "Close to hibernate (save session without prompt)" and can ...

DONE? [FTP vs local] Per-tab File operations

Hi

Per-tab / document File operations only apply to local filesystems.

Would it be possible to add the File -> FTP menu or FTP-based file actions to the per-tab/document context menu?

Thanks for 12.91 :)

Hi Rikard

Thanks for the latest version, 12.91. It installed swimmingly on my work Windows 10 machine which was great to see.

Very cool!

Thanks again :)
