Is the "dark" theme you refer to also known as the "Tablet Dark" preset theme?
I strive to be precise, you know ;)
I appreciate precision :) Unfortunately, so many do not. That's why I asked the question.

Thanks again for your help!

Re: Always dark syntax highlighting for every file type?

None, afaik... without a trick I just discovered! I went to Theme Manager and for "All languages" imported colors from a file (monitor icon, next to drop down menu) -- I chose "Dark Theme". All well and good, but only lines with code have dark background, other lines are still bright... So I create...

Always dark syntax highlighting for every file type?

Is there an easy, perhaps kinda global, way to make all syntax highlighters have a dark background? At present (in one of my RJTE instances) I've .html and .css highlighting with a dark background but not others, such as Perl. Suspect I need to try and tackle the Tools -> Syntax Editor functionality...

Re: [Update system] File in Use: rj-install_x64.exe

FYI, managed to update to 12.90 (final, not beta) without problems.
To clarify, that was on a Windows 10 system.

The problem is still occurring on Windows 8.1

I might be able to override it with a direct download and installation of the setup file but have not tried yet.

How to associate .cgi with Perl syntax highlighter

I must be missing something simple but I can't find where to associate .cgi files with the Perl syntax highlighter ... or any other similar 'mapping'.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Re: [Update system] File in Use: rj-install_x64.exe

Alas, Still kind of an issue for me: https://i.imgur.com/ckWwZW1.png Somewhat of a re-definition though: - Click Download Beta It downloads with RJTE usable in the background (but not worth using given a restart would be expected) - Click Install Beta (strangely, install Update is also available and...

Re: [sFTP] Open all files in folder

Thanks. I guess SHIFT is one of those hidden features it's hard to 'discover' whereas a context menu is more obvious but it's good to have options so thanks. I also found that hitting Enter with multiple files selected seemed to work. Regarding new versions, I think the rj-install64.exe has rendered...

DONE? [sFTP] Open all files in folder

Hi Thanks for your great program. Can't say that enough. Would it be possible to add a right-click menu to the FTP Panel with an option, when hovering a folder, to open all files within that folder, in bulk in one command? Use case Open a folder full of SVG files upon which I need to make a single r...

Re: RJTE shell integration crashing explorer.exe

Hi

AFAIK an uninstall and re-install of RJTE fixed this. I lost all my settings though. How can I back those up in future?

Thanks

RJTE shell integration crashing explorer.exe

Sorry about this but I've been having trouble with my home machine running Windows 8.1 and it's become clear it's an issue with an RJTE DLL. The error occurs every time I access the context menu for a file in Windows Explorer or another file explorer like Q-Dir, for example. Log Name: Application So...

Re: FIXED? Bugs in SASS highlighter

I just started using SASS and I'm seeing at least one issue whereby properties are not color coded if the line include tabs preceding them: https://i.imgur.com/hIsUepo.png UPDATE: properties are also not highlighted when the property is the first text on the line. In other words, property highlighti...

Re: [Update system] File in Use: rj-install_x64.exe

FWIW (possibly not much) I do notice some other installers tend to check to see if the program they're replacing (the core executable, in this case TextEd.exe) is running. RJTE doesn't seem to do that but then again, this error is occuring with rj-install_x64.exe, not TextEd.exe Best of luck with tr...

[Update system] File in Use: rj-install_x64.exe

Sorry to report this but the update system doesn't seem to be working for me. Causing some sort of theoretical UX loop: System Windows Pro 10.0.15063 Build 15063 A/C type: Administrator Steps 1. Launch RJTE normally 2. Get prompted about an update 3. Click Install Update: https://i.imgur.com/z9xZSu8...
