Re: Auto-close panels after mouse isn't over it

SOLVED

There is a pin in each toolbar next to the X to close it. Toggle that pin and the panels will behave the way you want.

SOLVED: Assign Ctrl + W to Word Wrap by default

Very surprised this is not default.

It is default in so many other programs so it is frustrating it is not in this program.

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

Thanks. Your feedback appreciated. Programming can be lonely work and it is good to share. We all work on those things that we hold dear and I like to bring graphical applications to life. I find the square boxes with grey buttons to dull for real existence which is full of colour and vitality. IF ...

Re: Useful Tools Complementary to RJTe

Another tool that is now useful to RJTextEd is ReactOS 0.4.14. I have been pushing ReactOS for a few years now but only recently has it become stable and usable enough to confidently install your typical Windows applications. During some recent testing I installed RJText Ed flawlessly, it runs well...

Re: Useful Tools Complementary to RJTe

Unsure if this fits here but I've been struggling to find a decent replacement for the very limited HTML <select> box. Since day dot, that standard <select> has supported text searching but with nearly zero reasonable user feedback! So most users have no clue it's available or whether it's working i...

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

Wow, these gauges are incredible! Such detail and graphical richness. I do not really use desktop widgets myself but these are the sort of quality graphical apps that make me wonder why the Windows time setter / picker has to be relatively dull! Very sweet work and, also, I think it's a very cool id...

Re: Pascal Emmet

Just noticed this thread. Wow , you published / open sourced some of your code Rickard! That's sensational. Cannot be over-rated. I know there's a lot of open source code out there but you have made a step from closed to open and that is no doubt a great benefit for others and I find that a very pro...

Re: Useful Tools Complementary to RJTe

I tried Brief, Brook Fead Reader and Feedbro, but they're far far behind NewsFox (which is discontinued and for which I keep separate Fx 56 installation). Life must go on, though; before NewsFox I was using another RSS reader and barely imagined life without it -- and now I can't even recall its na...

Re: Useful Tools Complementary to RJTe

I have a strategy for my old Firefox extensions, it is Palemoon mentioned above, all the firefox XUL extensions work and there are work-arounds for those that stop working for some reason. I do have to retain Firefox for the moment but only for those sites that are badly coded and look for specific...

Re: Useful Tools Complementary to RJTe

PJJ, if you are here I'm always here 8) I discover new posts through Live Bookmarks (since my favorite RSS reader in Firefox is no longer supported due to XUL deprecation and I haven't found any decent substitute yet), so I'm usually up to speed. Sage? I'm a fellow 'refugee/victim' (apologies to al...
