Re: FIXED? Some CSS highlighter quirks
Also, what is that blues on black background theme? Looks great. Should be called Electric Neon Blue in my opinion. Or similar

Re: FIXED? Some CSS highlighter quirks
Thanks Rickard. How do I install the CSS syntax file fixes uploaded into this thread? Tried Tools > Syntax Editor but unsure if I've done it correctly. Can I just copy/overwrite the existing file into: %APPDATA%\RJ TextEd\Syntax\ ... thus, over-writing: css.syx ... (what about css.ini?) . Then resta...

Re: Some CSS highlighter quirks
I have seen some issues with CSS highlighting as well. Tolerating it due to the folding / scrolling troubles. Here's a case where it might have something to do with line feeds. https://i.imgur.com/Dc8u40m.png https://i.imgur.com/e89Islu.png Without the line feed, the third rule #pzlm article name is...

Re: Cursor blocking; large sections invisible
Yep, I'm uniquely fecked up alright. Got it in one! FWIW I did notice the cursor stopping issue seems to be just below a folded section. Happy to send in file. I'll just check it for any privacy issues first. Thanks for all your great work. I remain delighted that the FTP functionality seems to rema...

Cursor blocking; large sections invisible
Hi Thanks for all the hard work. Unfortunately, I updated to the latest stable version 15.54 (64-bit) a few weeks ago and since there has been some strange behaviour that is definitely a regression in my view. Sometimes, for no reason I can obviously determine, the cursor just stops moving up and do...

[Folding] functionality maybe not actually run on Reload current document (from remote) ?
Hi Is it possible there's a 'bug' whereby code folding does not 'crash' or 'break' but simply that functionality is not called when using the tab context menu's "Reload current document" option on a file opened (then re-opened after switching git branches) from a remote location? Just have...

(I'll release all code on Github when done).
Perhaps a slight modification of your position on open source?
My skills are limited but I would still much rather contribute more than the odd forum post to help the project

Re: [Validation] Exit codes?
Could we integrate an HTML Tidy quick reference into RJTE? I'm not sure what you mean by "Tidy quick reference", anyway please notice that what your screenshot shows is only the final part of Tidy's output, and if you scroll up a bit you will see actual list of errors, so the whole messag...

[Validation] Exit codes?
Thanks for RJTE, it's very useful and a valued tool. In version 14.73 (64 bit), when running HTML > Offline Validation > Validate XML ... and probably in other validation scenarios ... we may get a result that only contains an unfortunately meaningless "exit code" number. Had a quick look ...

Re: Rickard, How's it going?
Rickard, most people here just want something from you and have expectations of prompt and efficient delivery of fixes, changes etc. Very few just turn up to say 'hello'. So, I'm just here to say "hello" and to ask how is it going? We don't get much feedback from you on what you are worki...

Re: No offense, but once should be said
I popped in to the forum today to say thanks. Before I can find the spot to do so, if there is one (I thought there was), I read this tripe. There's so much politics and broken English within this post, it makes little sense and seems to be someone having a bad experience, with an axe to grind. No c...

FIXED: [Save As Remote] first save (per session?) defaults to local not remote
Hi Thanks for the ongoing development, much appreciated. Unsure what internal scenario, other than a generic concept of what would seemingly be a 'session' (like a browser's reloading of previous tabs/state is known, at least in Firefox, as a "session") possibly reset by ... - restarting t...

FIXED: Save As (Remote): Syntax highlighting of new files
- Create new file
- Save As (Remote)
- Manually give the file a known file extension such as .css (default BBCode is not good for inline quoting of technical references)
- Appropriate syntax highlighter is not applied as it is when saving locally

Re: HTML Tidy options, what happened to them?
Whilst I completely acknowledge that creating consistent menu hierarchies and labels is a difficult task, in this case it seems counter-intuitive to have "Beautify XML" under a menu titled "HTML" ... as much as you, me and the gatepost know it's a 'front' for whatever functional...

Re: HTML Tidy options, what happened to them?
It's easy to get lost in the labyrinth of RJ TE's menus... This happened again. As I rarely debug XML (with nested HTML), the need to format it quickly, without even saving it, is not common so harder to remember something not done often. However ... Whilst I completely acknowledge that creating co...
