CLOSED: typed text is superceded by highlighted text

Bug in beta 13.30 When I perform a search by highlighting some text, the search now works as expected and the highlighted text appears on the find in files search box as well as the simple search using the find tab. The scenario where the bug appears is that I want to find a string in the whole docu...

Re: FIXED: v13.30b1 - GoTo line number

I generally use ctrl+g (ie. the goto tab) as a quick jump to a line number. The programming environments that I use have a debug window that displays the current line number where an error has occurred. I then ctrl+g in the editor and expect to be able to type in the faulty line number to jump strai...

Feedback: Font Sizing and Colour Property Selection

Positive feedback re: two features that have recently impressed me within RjTextEd. 1. CTRL+mouse scroll wheel up/down resizes the font in the main text area as per most Windows browsers. This is exactly how my creations (gauges &c) resize and it seems to be becoming a standard. Found it by mist...

Continuing Document map issues and a suggestion

"while switching on Document map, for a heartbeat translucent rectangle is visible in the top left corner of the editor; I managed to make it stay there (and be opaque)"# 13.2 beta 1 64bit - that rectangle is present on Windows 7 ultimate - and it sticks there. I cannot move it nor close ...

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

Panzer Weather Gauges - These are the gauges I worked upon last night, creating the images and scripting the creation of the gauge objects. I am creating these from scratch using RjTextEd. This is just a taster, the barometer face is not yet complete and the gauges are clearly not polling for the we...

Feedback - Columnar selection & Macros

Just some positive feedback re: Columnar selection & Macros. I was impressed by the ability of RjTextEd to select columns correctly and mark them for deletion. My previous editor, Context, had a ruler but as far as I was aware no ability to select columns or in block mode. Same positive feedback...

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

My next gauge is incomplete, ie. I am still working on it as it inconsistently extracts data from WMI, sometimes triggering errors on one machine and not in another. The fundamental signal strength is good it is just the bandwidth data that is failing some of the time. Regardless the gauge is comple...

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

Drive storage gauge showing current space usage, each gauge can show a selected drive and the gauge can be spawned so that you can have one gauge per drive. https://i.imgur.com/SO7fjSd.png https://i.imgur.com/jWAzELO.gif Low quality GIFs. Apologies. There is a short delay on the above pointers after...

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

Now the CPU gauge, yes - I have more of these... https://i.imgur.com/uTJpLLH.png Resizable using the mouse scroll wheel, the interval is configurable and the hand animation uses minimal cpu in itself. https://i.imgur.com/y8R8SKx.gif A screen capture using LiceCap. The interval in the image above has...

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

Panzer Ram gauge. Takes the memory usage from the widget engine's API and uses the same code as in the previous gauges to display current RAM usage in analogue and digital form. These are primarily analogue gauges and they are designed to appeal to the sort of mind where a visual representation of d...

Re: Creations built using RJtextEd

Not much of a description needed for the next gauge, all built using the same technology as the previous. Uses in-built APIs from the engines to extract the information so the number of lines of code is reduced, this gauge is a new build based upon an older gauge that is functionally identical. As y...
