Manual highlighting options . . .

Post by semicodin »

Is there a manual ("on-the-fly") highlighting option for the entire line, including indents?

Just click the margin, easier if you have line numbers enabled.
"Noli pati a scelestis opprimi"... or is it "non lacessit illegitimae te carborundum"?

Fantastic! Thank you yereverluvinuncleber. Could I ask you two more questions:

1. Is there a way to maintain/add-to the line selections? (ie. more than one highlighted line)

2. Can I change the color of the full-line highlight?

Thanks.

Simply drag the cursor down the line numbers/margin.

Environment - themes - customize - line highlight
"Noli pati a scelestis opprimi"... or is it "non lacessit illegitimae te carborundum"?

Hi yereverluvinuncleber, I was actually looking for a way to save my highlighted selections — which won't be contiguous — until such time I either toggle these highlights off -or- save the entire thing with its own environment.

This might be a bit ambitious but I thought I would ask.

Do the same and press the Ctrl key on each margin selection - is that what you are looking for?
"Noli pati a scelestis opprimi"... or is it "non lacessit illegitimae te carborundum"?

Let me get back to you on that. yereverluvinuncleber . . . perhaps you could help me with a small question. When I'm doing a find and replace, how would I enter the value for a ENTER/Return? For example (with the red being the value):

Yes, thank you so much. A bit of experimentation involved but I think I have the hang of it now! :P
