FIXED [15.45]: Bug when opening new file

I am using RJTE 15.31 on Windows 10 Pro 21H2
I opened a new file (does not already exist)... as shown in attached image, my current directory is:
D:\game.notes\Deus Ex 2
But RJTE created the file in c:\home ...

This is new behavior... you added the 'create new file without asking questions' option for me, I think back in V15.21 (??), and it was working fine back then, so this started in a more recent version... It took me awhile to figure out what was going on !!! "Why is it saying the file is created, but it's not here ?!?!"

Please fix this??

BTW, this occurs even if I specify . in the filename, though . *should* expand to current path...

The path in title bar seems to be wrong. But nothing is actually created. Not until you save the file.

Permit me to clarify... when I selected Control-S to save the file, it (created and) saved it in the (incorrect) location shown on the title bar...

This gets even more weirder with further analysis.

If texted is *NOT* currently open, and I open it with a new filename, it opens with the correct location...

However, if texted *IS* already open, with other files loaded, and I open a new file, it then appears to open with an incorrect path.

In both of these cases, it is properly loading all previous files that it had open.

It *might* be that it uses the path of the previous file that I had opened, but I'm not quite sure... I would note that the incorrect path that it is using in this case, is *not* the path of any other file which is currently open in texted...

I can reproduce it in v15.31 on a different system, but it seems I've fixed this already in the upcoming release (v15.40).

Well, with V15.43, this bug appears to be back...
See attached image... I opened a new file in D:\game.notes\Dishonored,
but the file was placed in c:\RJTextEd ...
