Remapping of F1

Right now F1 can't be remapped. That restriction wastes one of the most readily accessible function keys for the sake of accessing Help, which can be involved easily in other ways. I know that some other editors have the same restriction on F1--but not all. Even MS Word permits reassigning F1. Does some reason exist for this RJ Texted limitation?

I agree it's a bit annoying, but if you really want to, you can assign a different key combination, then edit the "TextEd.kbd" file and change it to F1. The file can be found in this folder:

C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\RJ TextEd\Data\TextEd.kbd

Thanks for the tip about editing TextEd.kbd. It does what I'd hope to do.
