I have a txt file and i would like see line-break, tab, and spaces but in a less bright color than the rest of the text, sadly what ever i do i cant change the color of such control-chatacters in the theme or syntax color settings.
Even better it would be if i could also change the size of the line-break symbol to some thing decent smaller.
I use the Beta-Version which i have downloaded today on Windows.

Re: Controll Character Colors
It wont work for plain text files if you use a variable width font, like "Calibri" or "Arial".
You have to change font to a fixed width font, like "Consolas", "Courier New", "Cascadia Code"... (normally used with source code).
The easiest way to do it is to set the alternative font to e.g. "Consolas". Press CTRL++ to switch between regular and alternative fonts.

Re: Controll Character Colors
Tabs, Spaces, New-Line appears bright like default text and not gray like controll-characters.

Re: Controll Character Colors
Make sure you haven't used a theme color for plain text files.
Using "Consolas" for plain text below:
Make sure "Follow current syntax colors is un-checked.
It seems to work fine at my end...
