[sFTP] Save to remote hangs, RJTE crashes, if server returns permission denied

Post by inspector71 » 01 Oct 2019 01:48

Hi

When saving / uploading a file to a remote server via sFTP, RJTE constantly tries to complete the job even when the server has returned a Permission Denied error. Eventually RJTE crashes.

What makes this a bit more annoying than just a bug is the little status box in the FTP panel does not scroll to the latest line automatically so after the initial lines for establishing the connection are written, the Permission Denied messages end up hidden with only an ever-increasing scroll bar as any indication there's new messages.

Best of luck

How are you saving / uploading the file? Was it opened from the remote server and then saved, or is it a new document and you try to use "Save As", or use the file commander to copy a local file to the server?

Good questions :)

Not entirely sure at this point but I will try to get some answers for you soon!
