SOLVED? Powershell in Terminal window dir changing error

Post by pjj »

No action (dir changing) associated with the first four icons doesn't work for me, when I open Powershell in Terminal window. ...Also no DOS command is executed: when I enter e.g. dir and hit Enter, nothing happens. It works alright for Command prompt, though. Powershell on my computer (Windows 7) runs just fine (in a Console Emulator).

It works fine on my Windows 10 machine, though, so it may be my settings.

I've disabled Powershell in the terminal panel on Windows 7. I'm not sure Powershell communicates using stdio on Windows 7 ?
