Associate file extensions
In options you can now assign the icon to be displayed in Explorer, for your associated file type. There are several text document icons to choose from, including the default program icon.

Associate file extensions should work better now on Windows 10/11 as well.

This appears to be buggy on my Windows 10. I added the .php file extension in the box because I wanted to change the icon from the new RJ to one of the others. If I click in the box that has the file extensions, the ones not selected disappears, like the text becomes white-on-white and can't be seen, only the little delete icon can be seen. The one that is selected flickers furiously until I click off of it. When I select a new icon and hit Set, the icons in Windows Explorer don't seem to change. Even after a reboot, my PHP files still have the RJ icon.

Also, sometimes the Options window won't close from here when hitting Okay or Cancel. It's not a lockup because I can move the Options window around and select other fields in the window, but the Okay, Cancel, and upper-right X icon won't close the window. If I select a different option in the left options sidebar then then window closes and I'm back at the editor.

Should work as expected in the next release (v15.70).

Doesn't work here with V15.68. I can add '.txt' with another icon, but explorer (TC also) isn't change.

It may be because you run the program as a standard user. I'll look into it.

I've found the problem:

When you associate a icon/program to a file-extension via Windows-Explorer, then the settings are saved in

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.[ext]

If there is a key for the extension, which I want to link to RJTED, then the change of RJTED is ignored!
If I delete the association in FileExts, then it works.

I currently have v15.81 release 2 (64-bit) installed and everything in my original post is still happening. The flicker, the refusal to close the window, and the icons not actually changing.
