FIXED? [16.10b1] Font weights

Post by pjj »

Thanks a lot for implementing it so quickly and so swiftly! :-D

I use FiraCode, which has 5 weights: Light -- Normal -- Medium -- SemiBold -- Bold. Of course I started to experiment with them, but when I don't like certain choice and want to change it, I need to remember which weight I used, which I usually don't :? therefore some kind of indication which weight is currently being use would be great.

But. Letter b, that stands for "bold", is now obsolete, so perhaps instead of checkbox, a button/field with e.g. font weight (400) indication would be more proper? The more so, that when I go on and check "Normal", this control is checked, too, even though the font weight is not altered.

For PHP tag I can't use any other weight than Normal nor Bold; setting it to e.g. Light doesn't change it at all.

All issues fixed, except the b checkbox. I still think it's intuitive and it too indicates a font style change.

Selecting "Normal" will just uncheck the checkbox...

This will be very helpful (both for setting and further testing); many thanks!
