FIXED: Clicking on program's close icon closes project, not editor

It happens quite often, though not all the time: when I click on the "close" icon (i.e. x in the right corner of program's window), only project is closed right away (no modal window), not the editor. Subsequent click closes the program.

I assume something happens when the project is closed that prevents the program to close.

If it happens again - please copy the content in

<AppData>\Roaming\RJ TextEd\Data\DebugOutput.txt

and post it here, or send it by email.

Well, this file is old (05.07.2023) and contains only header, with both options (DebugOutput, LogFileAppend) equal to 1. When I renamed it, it wasn't recreated (why?) and the behavior I had described ceased :o Could it be that that very file was the culprit?

It's not impossible...

Does a click on the close button close the program or does it close to the system tray?

It used to always close the program for good.

Has this been fixed in v16.16 beta 1?

(I checked with DebugOutput.txt file being present in the system.)
