Not displaying text lines correctly

It's doing that thing again where it displays the text file,
and then I click on a line, and everything shifts, and it shows
a line that is there, but was not displayed correctly.

It MIGHT always be an incorrectly displayed BLANK line, but I'm not sure.

I can't figure out when it occurs.

Do you use word wrap?

Can you post an example file (or send by email)? Maybe with some steps to (possibly) reproduce it?

It seems pretty random and I can't duplicate it.

I'm pretty sure Word Wrap was off every time I noticed it.

It did this before, a few years ago (?), and you fixed it.

Does that ring a bell?

But it didn't start happening, afaik, until the latest Beta update.

Do you remember if you did something before it happened. Like

- open the options dialog and change something
- zoom in/out
- switch to alt font
- switch to hex mode
- column mode editing

or anything else that you can remember...

I made some changes in the beta version that I've modified in the next version. But since I can't reproduce this - I don't know if it's fixed.

I'll try to keep an eye on it and figure out if I do something right before it happens.

I don't think I did any of the things you mentioned. Pretty sure I didn't.

The only thing I can think I might have done is a Ctrl-End or Ctrl-Home
to go to the bottom or top of the file I just opened or was already open
but "dimmed out" because I hadn't clicked on the tab yet.
(I can't remember what you call that)
I might have mouse scrolled there, too, rather than keyboard command.
