Strange Selection on non Latin Letters

If i write text with some non latin basic english letters like Ä,Ö, Ü, ä, ö, ü and may also other letters wich are not limited to the english language, and if the cursor is at the end of such a word that contains such a letter, then the combination of Shift+Enter tries to select the word before the cursor, and the selection will always break before the non standard english character.

Words like:
"Wörter" will select "rter"
"Auswählen" will select "hlen"
"Fälschlich" will select "lschlich"

This makes in any case no sense at all.

There is also an other thing about the command Key-Stroke in general.
There are a lot of text input systems which allow users to use Enter for hard line-break, while they allow Shift+Enter as non-hard-line break, editors who do not make this difference often let the shift+Enter combination combination empty by default and produce some hard line-break in code, where it does not matter.
